it's so evie

My painted furniture pieces have been sold in shops in VA, NY and now PA and I am so grateful for the shop owners who took a chance and gave me an opportunity to sell my pieces in their stores.

My dream grew into owning a Lifestyle based business where multiple people could have the opportunity to run a service or retail, Lifestyle based business, in one, cohesive, beautiful environment.

Suzanne McGonigal- The Half Italian Tailor

"My favorite thing about my business is my customers, and the creativity in making their apparel fit and feel beautiful,” Suzy said. My favorite quote is by Yves St. Laurent: ‘Over the years I have learned that the most important thing in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.’” Suzy’s goal is to bless women by helping them look their best. Her specialty is wedding gowns, wedding parties, and prom/cocktail dresses, but she loves taking care of her customers’ other alteration needs, like hems and repairs."

Ann Toll - Blue Rooster Vintage Blue Rooster was born out of the unique intersection of two very different trips I took this year. The first was a mission trip with my youngest daughter to the slums of Jaipur, India, where our hearts were broken witnessing the level of poverty and the plight of young women there. Months later, while exploring farmers markets during a 25th wedding anniversary journey through Austria and Hungary, I fell head over heels for the century-old grain sacks that farmers used to lug their grain to the mill. I loved their nubby, hand-woven texture and stripes, how they were lovingly hand-embroidered with a family’s initials, and the story each one told. Envisioning them repurposed into a custom line of bags and linens, our new venture was born. Blue Rooster Vintage offers a line of handbags, pillows, table runners and accessories custom-made from vintage grain sacks sourced from the attics, barns and farmer’s markets of Austria, Hungary & Transylvania. One hundred percent of all profits will be used to fund “Stitch by Stitch,” a sewing school in Jaipur that we plan to launch as early as February 2017. Young women from the slums will attend a 3-month stitchery course and receive ongoing guidance and support to set up their own seamstress businesses. With every bag sold, another tuition will be funded. One more young woman coming out of poverty into opportunity. One bag … one life. I’m so thankful to the dynamic women of The Yellow Door for letting me join them on their great adventure. Can’t wait to see you at this knock-your-socks-off store!

Sherry lynn Interiors

As a designer I strive to create beautiful homes and spaces that are simple and well edited yet reflect the personalities of those that live within,

A home is created over time: layered with stories, precious pieces, memories and lots of love. I believe in the beauty of all the little details that make up homes. It is so rewarding to see the joy in my clients when we pull it all together. Its like seeing their best self in the mirror - its beautiful, comfortable and so you.

For the last 10 years I have taken photographs of people. Little ones and big ones. Lots of them together as a family…even tiny new ones. I photograph people because I love them. I really do. I love their stories and their smiles. I love to watch them interact with one another and to catch them when they smile genuinely in a most unexpected moment.

It has been a blessing for me to watch families grow year after year and to see my photos hanging on their walls. In a time where we all take endless cell phone images and upload to the cloud, I long to make beautiful and lasting images that my clients can enjoy each and every day without having to log in somewhere.

Suzette's cake studio

"It all started when I baked and decorated birthday cakes for my kids. I really like the creative outlet it gave me. Over the years of creating for friends and family, I started Suzette's Custom Cakes. The love of teaching came from teaching  at "Sunday school". I wanted to find a way to share in what I love to do, teach, create and design. With a tremendous amount of encouragement and support, Suzette's Cake Studio, LLC was formed.

I want to share the joy of designing with you.

I love would to teach you what I know!"
